About the Contest
The QAC Goes Purple Poster Contest invites students across Queen Anne's County to use their creativity to raise awareness about the dangers of substance abuse and the importance of prevention.
Winning posters are displayed throughout the community, shared on social media, and celebrated at our annual recognition event. This is your chance to make a real impact.
This Year's Theme
Choose to Be Drug Free
Your poster should inspire others to make healthy choices and live free from substance abuse. Think about what motivates you, your friends, and your community to stay strong.
How to Enter
Create Your Poster
Design an original poster on the theme of substance abuse prevention. Any art medium is welcome — drawing, painting, digital art, or mixed media.
Submit Your Entry
Bring your completed poster to your school's main office or submit a high-resolution photo by email to your school coordinator.
Community Voting
Finalists are shared on the QAC Goes Purple Facebook page where the community can show their support.
Winners Announced
Winners are recognized at a community celebration and their artwork is displayed throughout Queen Anne's County.
Who Can Enter
Elementary
Grades K–5
Open to all elementary school students in Queen Anne's County public schools.
Middle School
Grades 6–8
Open to all middle school students in Queen Anne's County public schools.
High School
Grades 9–12
Open to all high school students in Queen Anne's County public schools.
